We appreciate your interest in our website. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we handle your data.
1. Access data and hosting
You can visit our website without providing personal information. Each time you visit our website, the web server automatically stores a server log file, which includes details such as the name of the file called up, your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the data volume transferred and the requesting provider (access data). This log file documents this information. Access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the website and to improve its presentation. This is in line with our overriding legitimate interests in the proper presentation of our services, as per Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f GDPR. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after your visit to the site ends.
Hosting
The services for hosting and presenting the website are partly provided by our service providers as part of the processing carried out on our behalf. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, all access data and any data collected via forms on this website are processed on their servers. For questions about our service providers and the basis of our agreement with them, please contact us using the details provided in this privacy policy.
2. Data processing for contact and customer communication
Contact
When you contact us (e.g. via a contact form, live chat tool or email), we collect personal data you voluntarily provide in order to process your enquiry. This is done in accordance with Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. b GDPR. Required fields are marked as such, as we need this information to process your enquiry. The data collected is clear from the contact forms. Once your enquiry has been fully addressed, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to its continued use (Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. a GDPR) or we are entitled to retain it for other purposes as permitted by law, of which we will inform you in this policy.
Once your enquiry has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further use and deleted after the expiry of the retention periods required under tax and commercial law, in accordance with Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. c GDPR. This applies unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data under Article 6, sentence 1, lit. 1a GDPR or if we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are legally permitted, about which we inform you in this privacy policy.
3. Cookies and other technologies

To make visiting our website more appealing and to enable the use of certain features, we utilise various technologies across different pages, including cookies. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of your browser session, meaning once you close your browser (known as session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device, allowing us to recognise your browser during your next visit (persistent cookies).
Protection of privacy on end devices
When using our online services, we employ technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the expressly requested telemedia service. The storage of information on your device or access to information already stored on your device does not require your consent in such cases.
For functions that are not strictly necessary, storing information on your device or accessing information already stored on your device requires your consent. Please note that if you do not grant consent, certain parts of the website may not be fully usable. This data processing is based on a legitimate interest in optimising the presentation of our services, in accordance with Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f of the GDPR.
In addition, we use technologies to fulfil legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g. to document consent for processing your personal data) as well as for web analytics and online marketing purposes. Further information on this, including the legal basis for the data processing, can be found in the following sections of this Privacy Policy.

4. Use of cookies and other technologies
We use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, their use is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1), sentence 1, lit. a GDPR. Once the purpose for the use of a particular technology has been fulfilled and its use has ended, any data collected in connection with it will be deleted.
